The Council is pleased that our enduring partnership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) is continuing to grow and serve our profession and wider community who access the services of Australian physiotherapists.

This partnership continues to be valuable to our candidates undertaking one of the Council’s assessment pathways. Through this partnership, APA offers our candidates free Associate Membership which provides a range of benefits as you work towards being a fully registered Australian physiotherapist.

Why APA’s free Associate Membership is good for the Council’s candidates?

  • Insurance to support you while you’re practising under limited registration & sitting your Clinical Assessment – be covered by the APA’s enhanced member insurance program with extended service offerings.
  • Discounted professional development – provide the best quality of care for your patients with courses delivered by experts within their field.
  • Access to the latest research – discover world-class research with EBSCO and PEDro databases containing full-text journals, randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews, and clinical practice guidelines.
  • Access to job vacancies nationally via the Jobs4Physios platform, available to both job seekers and employers
