Leanne Percy

General Manager – Accreditation

I may be quiet, but I’ve been told I pack quite a punch.  I have more than 15 years’ experience in both Higher Education and Vocational Training sectors, implementing continuous improvement processes and managing compliance.

Prior to the Council, I managed the development of curriculum and instructional design for brain-friendly learning.  I hold post graduate qualifications in both Education and Business.

I Love the Village Because…

Everyone has a voice and the work we do makes a difference.

If you are an Education Provider in Australia or Overseas and want to make a significant difference for both your Institution and Graduates of your Physiotherapy Program(s), my name is Leanne and I would be thrilled to support you on your accreditation journey.

LEANNE’S LEARNINGS

  1. I admire working mothers.  It’s a hard gig.  Correction.  It’s the hardest gig.
  2. I can’t abide people who make a big deal about first world problems and fail to realise how indescribably fortunate we are to be living in Australia.
  3. Being a builder’s wife and living through a number of home renos, I’m quite the ‘handy woman’. I’m completely at home with a power tool or a paint brush.
  4. I’m desperate to see the pyramids.
  5. The best TED talk I have ever seen is Susan Cain’s, The Power of Introverts…it’s all about me!!!
  6. I want to be remembered as being a good, loyal friend who always showed up.
  7. I have two gorgeous adult daughters.  So, it goes without saying…or perhaps not, depending on one’s kids I suppose…that my favourite time of the day is catching up with my girls about the day’s events with a glass of Shiraz in one hand, as I stir the night’s dinner on the stove top, with the other.
