The Council welcomes and celebrates the recent appointment of our new Deputy CEO Tamsin Garrod.
We are pleased to welcome Tamsin who is joining us after serving as the Interim CEO at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and insights from her research and leadership background to our work in the Australian physiotherapy profession. Tamsin has a PhD and an MBA from the University of Adelaide and a decade of experience in the health regulatory space. She has also served as a company director and committee member in various medical and membership organisations.
As part of her work as Deputy CEO, Tamsin will represent the Council in several areas and stakeholder engagements, working in collaboration with the Board and CEO on strategic planning, while also overseeing the operations of the accreditation and assessment services as ongoing GM of Accreditation and Assessment.
With a strong leadership team, the Council is grateful to attract talents like Tamsin to join us and bring her deep insights to our work. We look forward to an exciting future as we continue to be an enabler for the physiotherapy workforce in Australia.
Come and meet our new Deputy CEO at this year’s APA Conference in Perth as she presents the Council’s abstract on ‘How do we ensure tomorrow’s physiotherapy workforce is high quality and employable?’.
