Our journey to meaningful involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in physiotherapy accreditation.

At the Council, we champion the power of collaboration and the embedding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, doing and being.

We are proud to share ‘The Journey to Involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in Physiotherapy Accreditation’ by Dr Margaret Potter.

This paper is our story of listening, learning and building genuine relationships.

With deep respect and gratitude for the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Owners of the land we work on, we were honoured to receive permission from the Elders of the Wurundjeri to depict our journey using the Wurundjeri seasons.

We believe incorporating First Nations perspectives is essential for cultural safety and enriches the quality of physiotherapy education for all.

We encourage you to read this paper and join us in our reconciliation journey:
