The Council is seeking the expressions of interest (EOI) from curriculum or education professionals to join a panel of authors to refresh our Cultural Safety Training online course.
The Council’s Cultural Safety Training (CST) course guides learners about the health and cultural needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provides a foundation for their continued learning and development. The course is now due for review to ensure it is contemporary and an appropriate introductory course for Australian healthcare practitioners who are expected to provide culturally safe healthcare.
We are seeking authors who resonate with the Council’s values and are looking to contribute to meaningful work. Content authors will be remunerated for their time as they collaborate, review, revise and rewrite content to refresh the CST course. Work will span 3 months from February to April 2025 with an expectation of 6 hours per week.
