From 5 January 2026, international physiotherapists planning to undertake assessments with the Council should be aware of an upcoming 3% fee increase.
Why price increase?
This adjustment reflects the standard Australian Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase. CPI is used to track the average change in prices paid by consumers for goods and services over time, helping to reflect inflation in the economy.
The aim is to maintain fairness and transparency, while also keeping candidates informed well in advance to support their planning.
Which assessments will increase?
The increase applies to all assessment stages (excluding Skills Assessment) and will be implemented to continue delivering a thorough and reliable service.
We understand the importance of these assessments in supporting your journey to practise as a physiotherapist in Australia.
Our commitment remains focused on providing a clear, direct, and supportive experience for every candidate.
