Being passionate about people and problem solving in (almost) equal measure, is perhaps why devoting my professional life to Administrative roles in the tertiary education and NFP sectors has felt more like a calling, than a career path.  My roles have included working for the Imperial College (London), University of Law (London) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

But I have to say that my greatest gig to date is this one at the Council.  I derive incredible professional joy in demystifying the complexities for overseas qualified candidates from around the world and supporting them on their journey to practice Physiotherapy in our amazing country.

Being Part of the Village Means…

I love working at the Village because…I feel like I’m making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.  I also love the sense of community and family and how we champion each other to be the best we can be and celebrate our achievements.

Making my long story short

On a Sunday morning, you Can Find Me…

Nestled on my couch with a cuppa and newspapers; or

Watching reruns of Season 1 of This is Us with my lovely hubby

  • Nothing brings me more delight than feeding people
  • I’m known for my grammatical pedantry and exceptional attention to detail
  • Crocheting and cold days go hand in hand
  • I can recite the alphabet backwards
  • I’m not averse to a tipple of Pimms in the summer months
  • I’m not a fan of being talked to by someone wearing earphones
  • I’d like to be remembered as someone who always tried her best and who looked on the bright side no matter what life threw at her

If you are an overseas qualified physio and practicing physiotherapy in Australia is something you would like to explore, my name is Kathryn and I would love to hear from you and help you on your next adventure.
