The Council is committed to ensuring that every candidate receives accurate, up-to-date information—straight from the source. We strongly urge all candidates to trust and rely on official communications from the Australian Physiotherapy Council, not from third-party sources.
In recent times, we've seen an increase in the spread of misinformation regarding our physiotherapy assessment pathways and services. The external businesses often ask candidates to spend large sums of money for resources, training courses or coaching – content usually developed and delivered by people who have not even completed a Council assessment pathway.
Inaccurate information
Most of the coaching businesses give misinformation, especially about the Council’s newest pathway, because they do not have access to our trusted information and knowledge. Therefore, candidates are encouraged not to waste their money and time with those businesses.
Cheating/fraud
The Council has recently investigated allegations of exam cheating promoted and facilitated by coaching businesses. Candidates are strongly warned not to participate in any such misconduct that could result in disciplinary action and expulsion from the assessment pathway.
