The Council’s Accreditation Standards Review project has opened its second round consultation to receive feedback from key stakeholders to inform the new revised Accreditation Standards.

What are we reviewing?

We are reviewing the standards to accredit entry level education programs. Once the reviewed standards are finalised, it will be presented to the Physiotherapy Board of Australia for approval and subsequent implementation across Australia.

Please provide your feedback using this consultation response template and email it to [email protected] with the subject line “Accreditation Standards second consultation” by the end of Sunday 11 May 2025.

Why are we conducting a second publication?

The Council completed its first public consultation in February 2025, to know more about the feedback we received please read the consultation feedback summary.

We’ve used input from the previous consultation to inform the revised Accreditation Standards. The revised standards strive to address gaps, reduce duplication and provide clarity where required.

We are creating this opportunity for a second public consultation to ensure we facilitate feedback from all stakeholders and reflect the best practices in Accreditation.
