Please note: From 1 July 2022, there will be changes to the eligibility requirements for the Temporary Graduate Visa, international graduates in Australia will be able to directly apply to the Department of Home Affairs and will not be required to undergo a qualifications assessment. As an assessing authority, the Council will stop accepting applications for a Skills Assessment Temporary Graduate Visa on Sunday, 1 May 2022. The Skills Assessment – Temporary Graduate Visa is a simple document-based assessment designed to ensure that you have suitable skills for the occupation of “Physiotherapist” for the purposes of a Temporary Graduate visa application.
Successful candidates will be awarded with an Assessment of Physiotherapy Qualifications to submit with their visa application.
You do not need to provide any evidence of skilled employment for a Skills Assessment – Temporary Graduate Visa application.
As part of your application, you’ll need to complete an English Language Skills declaration form (as well as provide the necessary documentation).Download the English Language Skills declaration form
There’s no expiry date of the Assessment. However, DHA may only accept your assessment if you make your visa application within a specific time frame from the date of issue. Contact DHA directly if you have any concerns about this.
