HOW CAN YOU WORK AS A PHYSIO IN AUSTRALIA?

Eligible overseas physios can now apply for a new stream – the FLYR stream – of the Standard Assessment Pathway.

To qualify for the FLYR stream, you will need to have
- Entry-level physio qualification in Canada, Hong Kong (SAR of China), the United Kingdom, Ireland or Singapore*
- Registration without restriction with the relevant regulatory body within the past 5 years
FLYR Candidates only need to successfully complete a points-based Eligibility Assessment, online Cultural Safety Training program and the Written Assessment to receive a Final Certificate that can be used to apply for General Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
The Written Assessment is available to be completed by remote invigilation, so candidates do not have to travel to Australia to complete the FLYR stream, thereby saving time and money.
